Music played by the Hungarian Trio filled my home on two very special occasions - my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary and some years later my own wedding. The atmosphere the Trio created on both occasions was a gift always to be treasured in my heart. Their joyous, beautiful melodies echoed through the rooms of my home proclaiming it a happy space to be shared with friends and family. I will forever remember how it was the Hungarian Trio who left me with a last very precious memory of my parents thoroughly enjoying themselves with their whole family gathered around them enjoying the music as the sun set over False Bay.

A special thank you to you and the members of your trio for the wonderful music you entertained us with at our “elegant tea” at the Bay Hotel. You read the group so well and I was so impressed with the way you adapted to the situation. You were all fantastic!

You cannot even imagine how much we appreciated your wonderful music last night. All of our dear friends and guests remarked on your beautiful playing with great delight. Brigitte had a great party, just as perfect as planned and your presence, your colourful costumes, your lightness of spirit and your music making it so! We also appreciated that you stayed with us until so late.

It was an absolute pleasure to listen to your magic music at Lauren and James’ wedding … I am sure you don’t remember me, as there were so many people looking at you with admiration. I wanted you so badly to play a song from Franz Lehar for me but I could not remember its name … I have spoken to all my friends about you and will go on recommending you. Ihr seid ganz grosse Klasse!

Bertrand and I fell in love with the Hungarian Trio from the very first time we met you at a wedding expo in Cape Town. We always said that the day we get married, we would like to have you as our musicians! Thank you very, very much for making our wedding day the most perfect it could be because of your great talent and wonderful music!! It certainly was the highlight of the whole evening and everybody is still talking about your performance! What made it more special was the fact that you actually felt part of our family and we sincerely hope that this was your experience also. Music and musicians have always been an integral part of my life, especially, as my father, sister and I would always play our instruments together and wherever my father went and met someone playing any instrument, would bring them home to play. He would make them play all night and join in too as, although he could not read music very well, could play any instrument he picked up, by ear! Your selection of music at our wedding was perfect and we really wished the evening to go in slow motion so that we could just have more time with you. Thank you for making the effort and taking the time to come all the way to Knysna as you also had to leave so early for Cape Town again the next morning!
