Christening at Marianne Wine farm – 1 March 2012

Wine, roses, music- what a wonderful way to have a christening! On a still, hot day, the Hungarian Trio travelled to www.mariannewinefarm.co.za

in Stellenbosch to play for baby Juliet’s christening. Amongst heaped roses, we began to play our most beautiful light classical music as guests assembled in the garden chapel. After a moving and personal ceremony, we moved into light-hearted party mode with tangos, love songs and dance tunes as guests celebrated with champagne. Then came delicious food accompanied by the wonderful Marianne wines-these wines are so good that they are exported TO France, believe it or not! As we serenaded around the table, some guests sang and all were enchanted. What a way to celebrate a new life!
